The National Ringette League (NRL) was founded in 2002 and began play the following year. The league was created to promote the sport of Ringette and allow the best players in the country to compete against each other. With 14 current teams across the country, the National Ringette League is the showcase league in Canada and is committed to the ongoing development and competition of high-level Ringette athletes. The development offered to players in the NRL allows them the opportunity to be scouted for Ringette Canada's Senior and Junior National Teams. The NRL works closely alongside the Team Canada coaching staff to ensure a high-performance environment that aligns with their vision.

Calgary RATH

Est. 2004

The Calgary RATH is an NRL team based in Calgary, AB. Established in 2004 from the Calgary AA program, the founding members decided to create an acronym that highlighted the values they wanted the Calgary NRL Franchise to uphold - Respect, Attitude, Teamwork, and Heart. RATH has competed as a member of the Western Conference in every season since its establishment and has attended 14 National Championships, holding 3 National titles. Most recently, RATH took home Gold at the 2022 National Ringette League Championships. With every new season, the Calgary RATH continues to focus on cultivating high-performance ringette in the Calgary area and creating opportunities for the development of our future RATHletes by supporting and coaching teams in the Calgary AA program, the City of Calgary ringette associations, and various associations in the surrounding areas.
